Is SalahMate free?
Yes. Prayer times, logging, the journal, circles, and focus mode are free on Android. SalahMate Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription that adds the Smart Fajr alarm, longer reminder windows, custom focus-mode timing, and unlimited circles.
How does the Fajr alarm work?
It rings at Fajr, or up to an hour earlier if you want time for suhoor, and keeps ringing until you log Fajr. It's scheduled on your phone, so it works even when the app is closed.
Do I need an account?
Yes — you sign in with Google. It keeps your prayer history, circles, and settings backed up across your devices.
What are circles?
Private accountability groups for family or friends. Members can see who has prayed today and send a short nudge. Invite people with a link; you choose who joins.
Which prayer time methods are supported?
Thirteen calculation methods, including Muslim World League, Karachi, ISNA, Egyptian, Umm al-Qura, Dubai, Turkey and Moonsighting Committee, plus Standard or Hanafi Asr. Change them any time in Settings.
Is there an iPhone version?
SalahMate is on Android today. An iOS version is in progress.
